What is up with staff?
Harmony, Jackie and Tequila are at the front desk. (If you are not seeing someone at the front desk during posted hours, please report it to manager@plaza-tower.com…include the dash).
No one has been hired to be in the management office yet, so you won’t see anyone there. If you wish to communicate about management issues, please email manager@plaza-tower@gmail.com
A lot is happening behind the scenes at the CAM office on Park Ave.
Calvin is still buzzing around! If you have maintenance issues, please use AppFolio and put in a maintenance request.
So what IS happening behind the scenes?
A contract has been signed with AFPS (our fire alarm company), to replace all of the smoke sensors/detectors in the building in hopes of hitting any faulty sensors that have been causing our fire alarm issues.
A contractor has been hired to work on the loading dock. I think the plan is to use a degreaser to loosen up the grime, pressure wash, grind and apply a gripping agent.
A stockpile of delinquent HOA accounts has built up over the last few years, and CAM is moving this process forward.
AppFolio is being populated with important data. This includes, owner contact information, account ledgers, unit closing dates for present owners, parking spaces, events for the calendar, uploading shared documents
Association files and documents are being well organized. CAM has worked with the board to allow for transparency between the board and CAM as well as allowed transparency with the members. This will help with any future transitions of the board, staff or management.
CAM is generating written procedures for the front desk, communications with the board, paying invoices, etc. This will help with consistency and any future staff or board changes.
CAM is gradually setting up our staff situation so when people have to be out, there will be back up. We are looking at a near future of regular, uninterrupted front desk service and 24hr on call maintenance.
I rent at Plaza and don’t have access to AppFolio, what do I do?
Maintenance requests and noise complaints: 1) inform your property manager or owner of the unit and request they put in a ticket for you through AppFolio, or 2) email frontdesk@plaza-tower.com or manager@plaza-tower.com
